I was born in a humble family in Adipur, Kutch, Gujarat. My father was a truck driver, mother a housewife…
We lived in the poor locality which was surrounded by drunk people who will fight and gamble…
We could hear them from the window of our small corner house…
As a kid, I used to go to a common community public toilet that used to stink and was surrounded with street pigs…
It was so disgusting to even go to those toilets because the pig will enter the toilets sometimes through the half-broken doors…
I never shared this side of my life story with anyone..
Those days, I used to think that the only way I will become successful is to study hard and find the job and keep growing in life…
Hence, I worked hard for many years…
After 30 years, I had everything in life. A good house (with 3 private bathrooms 🙂 ), a lovely family, good health, a good car, and a salary of Rs. 3lakhs a month.
I used to think that I was living the best life as compared to where I came from but I was wrong…
I realized that my aim was too low, my dreams were mediocre, my benchmarks were mediocre…
I was just living a life without any fulfilment. I was alive but I was not living…
I was still the corporate zombie with a mediocre dreams…
I realized that I had more potential than what I was using.
I am sure you can relate to my feelings?
So, what did I do?
I decided to work on my purpose, which was to help people realize that they too were bitten by the mediocrity bug and help them to explore their full potential by following their passion…
It took 20 months but I was able to build the life which I call “6 Sundays A Week Life”
Today, I work on things I love and yet make crores every year…
I became the TEDx and JoshTalks Speaker,
Gave my international speech in Nepal last year…
I got paid lakhs for my public speech… for instance, Rs. 3.5 lakhs for a 2 hour speech
It used to take me 30 days to make that amount in the job..
Not just me, but so many of my mentees have been able to quit the job and making lakhs even in this lock down…
It is all possible!
